Author has written 26 stories for Chronicles of Narnia, and Master and Commander.

Aloha! I figured it's high time I told y'all something about myself, seeing as how so many people have been so kind as to read and review my stories.

I've been writing fan fiction for ages, starting before I hit my teens. The first story I can remember writing (and finishing) was about the anime series Battle of the Planets. It was awful of course, and mercifully it's now in a landfill in New Jersey, but it got the ball rolling that never really stopped. My present obsession is The Chronicles of Narnia, as evidenced by most of my stories here. I tend to incorporate the things I love into all my stories, from epic poetry to my favorite band's music (Queen, if anyone is curious) to the New England landscape where I live, to comic books and my favorite works of art. I put a lot of work and research into my stories because I feel you, the reader, deserves the best I can deliver. I'm not here to try to become a better writer - I'm as good at writing as I'm ever going to get and I suspect I will massacre homophones until the end of time. I'm here to become a better story teller, and under that aegis I will gladly accept all criticisms and praise.

DragonCon 2010. 'Nuff said.

I'm a proud supporter of the Southern Florida Wildlife Rehabilitation Center!

I don't have a homepage, but this link connects to the1hobbit's DeviantART site. She's drawn many wonderful and touching pictures based on my Narnia stories and characters (including my new and improved icon) which I'd like to share.

If anyone is curious, this picture where I got the idea for the story In the Lap of the Gods.

Cammy has drawn me a lovely picture of Dawn Treader from my latest story The Voyage of Dawn Treader.

Julie has done some stunningly beautiful illistrations for my stories. Check out her DeviantART account, you won't be disappointed!

At the suggestion of one of my readers, I've compiled a glossary of all the original characters running about my stories. It's far too long to post here, but if anyone would like a copy please just send me an email or a PM and I'll gladly send it along.

Lately quite a few people have been 'borrowing' characters and characteristics and habits I've developed in my stories for their own. Generally I'm very free with people using my stuff, but I do ask that you contact me first. I put a lot of time and thought and effort into my little universe, not to mention tons of research, and I prefer to know who's playing in my sandbox. It's not asking too much to seek permission before you use something that's not yours.

One final note . . . I never start a story, especially a long one, without the end planned out, and I promise I will never start writing a story without finishing it. It might take time, but trust that I complete everything I start.

Aloha!

I have a habit of writing stories out of order and jumping around from beginning to end both in individual stories and in the overall alternate universe I’ve created. If it helps, the order for the stories written thus far is:

Blessed

Balance

The Conscience of the King

The Most Noble Order of the Table

Black Dwarfs, Blue River

Into the West

They Also Serve

Heydensrun

The Good Brother

Neville the Chamberlain

Thole

A Blessing of Rain

The White Armor Ball

Were It Not For You

In the Lap of the Gods

Eye of the Beholder

Halcyon

The Voyage of Dawn Treader

On the Nature of Wishes

Passing Down the Crown

The Promise of Life

When We Were Kings

And So the End Begins

I’ll update as more stories are written. I don’t consider What’s Best for Narnia part of the series above, it was just a silly lark that's not related to anything since I'm not a Susan/Oreius or Lucy/Tumnus shipper. I do believe that the queens may love a man/centaur/faun/other enough to marry him knowing there could be no intimacy between them, and that's the spirit in which What's Best for Narnia was written. Daughter, Would You Accompany Me? is a stand alone story.

Also, I don’t ascribe to the (for me) non-canon belief that the Golden Age of Narnia only lasted for fifteen years. I think it lasted much longer than that and unless I have reason within my stories to send the Pevensies back to England before I’m done with them, I’ll keep them in Narnia for a good long time. No fears, though - I have lots of stories in mind that will make their lives interesting for as long as they’re there.
