hi,

i am a great fan of Harry Potter stories (funny saying that at an age of 48).

Fan stories. cause lets face it the world of JKR is written for children:

Money that lies around in dungeons doing nothing.

People how are working for the ministry or owner of a business...no real economical system.

A dark wizard waiting nearly every year to strike just at the end of the school term (LOL).

Adventures that our heroes can survive because they just learned the right spells.

There are some things i like: a story with an logical plot.

Others i loath: some Super Heros coming to the rescue, but never tried to help before.

pairings that just can't work like Draco/Harry Snape/Harry Ron/Hermione Draco/any known female

As you may see, i hate Draco and Snape. There are just only a few stories around that have them act

human AND are logical.

And now comes a real sore point: slash fiction! A story with Harry and ANY adult is just wrong.

If (like in most stories) this adult goes by the name of Snape its like seduction of minors because Snape

is a teacher. How would you feel if your read about an teacher at your local school who has an affair with

one of his pupils?

Sorry, but slash fiction are the worst around, followed close by: Reading of the books, and making Harry

godlike.

We all have in someway or other set our Heroes with the actors from the films. BIG MISTAKE.

For myself i have not watched a film after Goblet of Fire and stopped reading half way trough OotP.

The reasons are: for the books...come on not even the not very smart Harry in those books would endure the torture by that toad.

For the films...they are just action movies. Good action movies but there are better ones around.

Last part...JKR i must say i hate you for your imagination that an intelligent girl like Hermione would marry some mmm pig like Ron.

Ask yourself: what do they have in common? If you find anything else than Harry Potter...congrat

Harry and Ginny? Disgusting. Everyone says that Harry just looks like his father and now he is with a red haired witch who looks like his mother...uuuurrggsss (i must vomit).

Try to read some of my fav stories.

I hardly find a good story these days. Most of the authors are only posting gay stories (urgs).

The usual reading of books (yawn).

There is not one story with an interesting and new plot.

And if i must read another story with Harry swimming in gold (in the last one he owned over 52 billion) i puke...or

with him gaining powers only because a marriage some centuries ago (yes Purebloods are so much better) i real start

flaming.

Ok, some more ranting about the absurdity of JKR's world and why not even one author of fanfiction tries to be more logic.

School (again). There are 7 years divided in 4 houses. So lets do the math, even there are 2 of the houses joining the class that are still 14 classes at every time of the day.

Now we all know that there are NOT 14 teachers available at Hogwarts. So how do they do it?

Add to that the impossible workload for every teacher...try to imagine that he must read a 2-4 feet long parchment. From EVERY student ... thats around 250-300 students. If he only checks their homework once every week...

And now think about that a pupil starts Hogwarts at 11. So they have just have primary school. They can barley read and write and do the simples math.

I real love reading stories...good stories. And if i like them i will tell that in my review...the same goes for stories i don't like or have

major problems with logic. If an author writes in his AN that he doesn't like reading criticism well...a good advice would be not to

publish. I'm not talking about stories you just do not like the plot.

That FFN no longer supports the advanced search is a pity. It was a good tool to filter unwanted stories.
