![]() Author has written 7 stories for Chrono Crusade, Spirited Away, Avatar: Last Airbender, and Pitch Black / Riddick. 11.20.06: Whoo-hoo! Another update! Not much to say besides the fact that everything I'm writing is pretty much on hold in favor of this new fic, 'The Road to Emeredian.' I'm really psyched about it, even if not many of my readers are so enthusiastic. It's just, I've been mulling over a couple of ideas about the Wiz for maybe two years now, and all of a sudden, about a week ago, my muse comes over and whapps me in the head with a 2x4. Now I've got one 12-page chapter coming out of my ears every day! And character sketches on top of that! I'm thinking about turning this thing into a bloody graphic novel! In any case, some friends of mine have pointed out that, considering this is a parody, it can be easily plagurized and used to make money. Since I'd like to make that money, it's likely that this story will not stay online long. For those of you who are still reading and would like to finish, I won't take it away from you--simply email me and I'll send you the last chapters as they come out. Just to say, I'm REALLY sad I won't be putting the rest up. I'd love to hear what more people think of it, but I don't want to risk my ideas. Especially with all the thought that's going to be put into the next chapter. Thanks to those of you who were reading. Fauna Greywolf and Obsidian3 in particular. You guys make my day. 10.27.06: Gosh! It was about time for an update, huh? I'm no longer a Freshman at UH, if anyone cares. I'm now a Sophomore at the College of Marin in Kentfield, California. Won't be here long, but there it is for now. As for the status of my current stories, I must really apologize to all of my readers for the delay in updates--I just haven't been keeping up. However, it may delight you to know that not only am I currently writing the next chapter in 'Cross of Lorraine' but am brainstorming--and coming up with quite a storyline--for a sequal to 'Promise to a Dream' which is as of yet untitled. Hope I've still got readers out there interested in updates! Greetings and salutations, all! With the reasoning that you are currently reading this at my disposal, I shall now subject you the story of mylife, and then thank you immensely. Prepare yourself. I am currently a freshman student at the University of Hawaii at Hilo. I graduated Salutatorian of my class from Parker School in Waimea on the island of Hawaii. I've attended the Maui Writer's Conference once, and in that time had the overwhelming honor of meeting Christopher Paolini--author of the NY Time's Bestseller, 'Eragon.' Did you know he's really short? He's shorter than me. It was kind of weird. But he was SO cute! X3 Enough of that. My writing history actually spans back to gradeschool, where it used to be a gruelling task, until I started wanting to keep track of the stories me and my friends made up when playing games outside; pretending to be new characters from the Legend of Zelda, or DBZ or Pokemon or Sonic the Hedgehog (I was Tails, my little brother was Knuckles, and our friend who was like another brother was Sonic.) Why am I telling you these things, you may ask? I honestly can't remember. X3 My current writings include a number of original composition in-progress, as well as quitea few fanficions, as you can see from my listing here. And no--that is not all; there are certainly more to come.Since I became interested in writing, I've won a literary award for a short story/psychological thriller I wrote in my Junior year, and simply enjoy the ability to create worlds and adventures or to simply play around with my favorite concepts from those already-made. As for my fan fictional prowess, my taste runs towards the following compositions: One Piece, Chrno Crusade,Card Captor Sakura, Tsubasa Chronicle, Fruit's Basket, Naruto, Wolf's Rain, Trigun, Inu Yasha, Cowboy Bebop (though I would never ATTEMPT a fanfic of that masterpiece), and others I'm sure I've forgotten to list. I've also once tried my hand at Final Fantasy (which you can expect to see the result sometime in the future(, and know a goodmany more fictional titles that are unrelated to anime. If you wish to knowwhat these are, you may ask me; I'm sure I could not think of them all off the top of my head. Also, for those of you who enjoy a good One Piece fanfiction, I suggest you head over to my collaborative page: http://www.fanfiction.net/~tenshinakama This is a site created together with my good friend and college mate Kieri Norou. If you like what I do, I'm sure you'll like her stuff just as much if not better: http://www.fanfiction.net/~kierinorou For anyone still reading this thing, I commend you for your patience and ask you to endure jut a bit longer--for anyone out there interested in collaboration (that is, the composition of a piece of fiction by means of two or more authors), I am a ready, willing, and enthusiastic beta! I can write for any of the above-mentioned animes, although I'm only up-to-date on the animes of One Piece, Chrno Crusade, Card Captor Sakura, Tsubasa Chronicle, Fruit's Basket,Wolf's Rain and Trigun. I'm up-to-date with the manga version of Naruto. I'm not exactly filled in on every detail for Inu Yasha, but I'm pretty good at improvising. :) And that is the end! You're reward? My undying gratitude and heartfelt thanks for hearing me out. It means a lot to me that you would take the time to read about me--it must mean that I'm interesting in some respect. Thanks for dropping by! --Koru |
