Set in a land rooted in ancient Persian mythology, the Prince finds himself caught in a battle between the forces of light and darkness: the God of Light, Ormazd versus his brother Ahriman, the God of Darkness.
In agreement with Penhalion's previous comment,
I'm a little disappointed that they've opted for the 'standard enemies'
culminating in a boss per area/level routine.
I adore Shadow of the Colossus, so i was quite pleased
that someone else was brave enough to attempt something vaguely similar but still altogether fresh, with a title like PoP.
Disappointment aside, the mechanics of PoP have always been a joy to play around with.

I've said this before and I'll say it again: what is the point of the Prince when Elika is so much more powerful and able to defeat the corruption than he is? Trying to associate the titles hero and savior of the land with the Prince is impossible when every step of the way it was Elika who was responsible for his success. Why is he even needed?

Was anyone else annoyed by the people sounding like they were reading everything they were saying off of a sheet of paper? It felt like I was back in school in English class.
