I'm not noticing any difference between CryEngine 2 and 3. There probably are difference as to stability but I'm not seeing much graphical difference.
All I'm seeing is that this Engine can be used on 360 and PS3 no problem. Therefore, possibility of the next Crysis being on the 360 and PS3 as well as the PC.

Jeez leweez this is a tech demo of the crysis engine!! do you think the Crytek wouldn't optimize the engine to work on both consoles?! they both can do the same thing... get over your fanboyism and get on with your lives man!...Christ I hate it when you guys do that!!!.... besides.....PC rules them all :-)
True dat

Funny you'd say that. It's only looking this good after a 5 minute texture load. I think we should give it a look when it first loads up. I bet it's a pixelated piece of shit like gears in the first minute of gameplay. Yeah, but once it all loads up just be careful not to move the camera at all... or anything for that matter. The process'll just start all over again.
Gtfo with your 2 core processor. It can't hold in comparison to 8.

It's mostly environmental difference, scale of environments is larger, cityscapes, different landscapes branching away from the tropical worlds, etc.
Not to mention console refinement, that's a huge step for CryEngine

I still think KZ2 has better physics, graphic, and smoke cloud. But I would imagine the CryEngine of PC version is much more impressive than the console version.
