The video of the cell phones popping popcorn is a hoax!
This video shows how the feat was performed.
The actual video was just a marketing stint by a company. While no brands were mentioned, this company was trying to entice others to try their product through this sneaky advertisement. Through watching the video, it got people interested in the product, and they were willing to look into it, and possibly buy the phones with bluetooth headsets.
Try the real experiment for yourself, it won't work!
I did not take apart the microwave. This video was made by someone else.
Yeah wouldn't that totally screw up your phone and I mean they say standing in front of a microwave when its on is bad and this thing is exposed and crotch lvl, that cant b good for the kids if you know what I man. Awesome video though totally creative.

Wait, isn't it dangerouse to have the magnetron exposed like that? Especially so close to you? O_o I hope your balls didn't get small or something, haha

Without solid metal or metal-grating, those waves aren't shielded. I hope that dude in the video doesn't do this often and I hope no one else thinks it's cool enough to replicate. Sure it's a cool trick, but it's also a good way to expose yourself to high-frequency electromagnetic waves.
