I'm quite impressed with ubisofts' smaller "indie" (lol not really they fake it) projects are going. Child of light Valiant Hearts and Life is Strange are all strong contenders. Ubi normally bullshit about there deep stories but the AAA status normally intervenes and bogs it down in a world of climbing towers and follow missions. At least they are learning now that less is more.
agree 100% ; these under 10 hour games should have a price point under $25 otherwise the reviewer should be right out front about how incredibly short these titles are getting.
Looks interesting. I was surprised to hear the game doesn't have any music, isn't that going to be incredibly quiet after a while? Still I'm intrigued.
Even if it was 2 hours, if that's what the developers wanted to create and if it gets across everything it needs to perfectly in that time and the lack of soundtrack adds to that then it should be a 10 out of 10. I don't get this weird time thing people complain about. If you keep doing it we're going to keep getting trash like Assassin's Creed where they just sprinkle side quest fairy dust over a map and we end up with 100s of meaningless, dull, busy work missions that we learn nothing from and that affects us in no way at all other than boring us. Sometimes I think that Ubisoft sneeze onto the game map and then stick side missions wherever the droplets land.
I'd rather have a 2 hour game that makes me happy or makes me cry or even angry at the developer's ideological message (at least then I'm about to possibly learn something about them, myself or the world (more often them as an individual though)) than something like Assassin's Creed. Not to say AC is terrible, it's just the amount of terrible side quests they obviously try to pad the game with. They aren't value for money, they're empty, they're like someone saying "click your fingers a thousand times and I'll write that you did it on this paper". And not that every game should have a message or meaning, Mario games are some of my favorite games of all time and they're just a dude who can jump high and be Italian.
You know we all keep crapping on Ubisoft but they're doing exactly what we asked for with this and Valiant Hearts. They're at least trying to release some new and unique ideas. Weird how their little experimental ideas are a million times more interesting than their AAA games.
hm... I'm not sure you picked up very well on what I said. I didn't give a defined hour count as I'd spent about eight hours scouring every nook and cranny, but I know you could probably bee-line it much faster. And there are certainly hidden areas and extra goals, which I did take time to explain.
Just played this with PS+ and it is way better than it should be.
Dontnod, the Remember Me devs. Yup, they speak French.

Crap my bad blood, I knew the developers spoke French so my mind jumped to Ubisoft Montreal for some reason
Looks awesome. Maybe its worth a look?
Hm not sure about the score 8 for a game with no sound track. 2 hour gameplay with no hidden areas for putting in more effort.
probably a side product from the AC animation research XD
Well grope a duck and call me ding dong
^it's $8.00

Sweet this definitely is a unique and fun looking game.
Definitely deserves the spotlight. The sense of scale alone makes it intriguing.
I hope this gets released on ps4
Haha it might. XD

I say play the Katamari Damacy OST. I haven't played the game yet but I think it fits. =)
