I asked him to do a quick email interview like I did with Walt D and he agreed.

I am a big fan of the Putumayo Kids music label and have done about ten interviews promoting at least ten of their albums. The label's goal is to educate people – children and families alike – about music of other cultures.
I decided for 2007 to try to meet two challenges from two LiveJournal memes: To read 100 books and to watch 100 movies. Since I review books and movies and interview authors this gives me a chance to open my eyes to lots of different things.

One of the good results of all of my a> is that I not only have authors I like and respect seek me out for interviews but I also receive some good stuff unsolicited. It's also always exciting when authors agree to interviews.
You may not recognize the name Robert Fulghum but you have seen his work.
Background: I posted an article with suggestions on how to do interviews.
Clue suggested I interview Walt. I then sent off questions, after reading what is going on in his backyard.

Note: This plan is for doing interviews in person or on the phone. An email interview, which is how I do most of my interviews since leaving paid journalism, is a different creature.
