About our expert:

Sean McMahon, President and CEO, Engine Works

EngineWorks co-founder, Sean McMahon, oversees all business aspects of the company, including strategic planning, corporate direction, and day-to-day operations. In 1999, Sean was a founding member of the management team at TrafficLeader, Inc., a world-renowned search marketing company. He, and his former partners, profitably grew this company for several years, until it was acquired by Marchex, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCHX) in October 2003.

At his former SEM company, Sean was instrumental in the co-creation of the world's first Paid Inclusion program, and was directly responsible for forging certified partnerships with all major engines. His firm's professional standards, and strict respect for relevancy, enabled SEM to become a legitimate interactive advertising channel. Sean has instilled this same level of sophistication, responsiveness, and aptitude at EngineWorks.

Mr. McMahon has successfully launched, managed, and sold four diverse companies over the past two decades. He began his career as Brand Manager at Anheuser-Busch, Inc., and has a Master of Business Administration degree from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri.
