Industry Leaders Integrate Software Offerings to Improve Search Marketing Programs Across the Enterprise

SAN DIEGO, CA / OREM, UT – SEPT 26, 2006 - SEMDirector, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise search analytics software and Omniture (NASDAQ: OMTR), a leading provider of online business optimization software, jointly announced today the formation of an alliance to provide a select portfolio of integrated software solutions. Under the terms of this agreement, the two companies will work together to extend the integration between Omniture’s Web analytics products and SEMDirector’s enterprise search analytics solutions. The integration between these two product suites provides global, distributed organizations with unparalleled visibility, actionable metrics and robust functionality to manage and optimize all facets of search engine marketing across the entire enterprise. As part of this new alliance, SEMDirector also announced its participation in Omniture’s accreditation and certification programs for technology and sales.

The alliance is an extension of successful custom integrations the two companies have implemented for leading Fortune 500 marketers such as iVillage, a division of NBC Universal. iVillage utilizes a combined instance of Omniture SiteCatalyst® and SEMDirector™: Value software to analyze keyword and search engine marketing results and continuously reallocate marketing funds to the highest performing programs. The result is an increase in targeted visitors and margin per keyword.

The initial focus of this alliance is the certification and commercial release of packaged integrations between Omniture SearchCenter™ and SEMDirector: Enterprise, and Omniture SiteCatalyst and SEMDirector: Value. “Marketers will need bid management systems that are robust, integrated across search providers, and able to integrate feed management into a common interface,” said Sapna Satagopan, research analyst from JupiterResearch, a division of JupiterKagan, Inc.

Omniture SearchCenter is a keyword management tool that enables marketers to automatically manage keyword bids based on user-defined thresholds. SEMDirector: Enterprise provides Fortune 500-scale companies with a centralized management console to critically evaluate and optimize paid search advertising campaigns across a multitude of search engines, business units, budgets, geographies, languages and target markets.
