New Adaptor Empowers Internet Businesses with Actionable Reporting and Automated Product Ranking

Pleasanton, CA and LONDON - October 30, 2007 - Mercado Software and Omniture (NASDAQ: OMTR), today at eCommerce Expo London, announced a powerful new tool to enable online retailers to maximize conversion rates. Mercado’s newest adaptor allows online retailers to tightly integrate insight gained through Omniture Genesis with their site’s search, navigation and merchandising capabilities.

Metrics-savvy eCommerce executives rely heavily on analytics data such as those provided by Omniture Genesis. Shortening the cycle between analysis and action is a goal commonly identified by retailers – both large and small. By adopting a Metrics Driven Merchandising strategy Mercado customers are taking much of the guesswork out of merchandising and are seeing significant bottom-line improvements.

“The integration of Web analytics and searchandising is essential for any online business wanting to keep its finger on the pulse of its business – and put metrics to work generating more revenue,” said Geoff Atkinson, Marketing Chief of Staff at Overstock.com. “Mercado’s new Omniture Genesis Adaptor pulls click-through, conversion rate, revenue and other valuable business data into our search and merchandising system – optimizing our merchandising mix for maximum sales.”

“Our Analytics Adaptor for Omniture Genesis provides the seamless provision of valuable business metrics such as searches, clicks, items sold, conversion rates and revenues,” added Corey Leibow, Mercado’s president and CEO. “This enables our joint retailing customers to easily analyze site activity and automatically deploy merchandising strategies based on this insight.”
