Introduction

We are an OTA (Online Travel Agent) – pure tech company. Our web site CheapTicket.in has been live for 15 months and is seeing an increasing traction. We are already doing 500 transactions a day. Our target is to increase this to 5000 transaction per day over the next 12 months.

We currently focus on airline bookings and we will be adding ground services such as hotels shortly.

Our CTO is from Bulgaria and has over 20 years of developer experience. He holds a Masters in Mathematics and a PhD in Computer Science. So there is a lot to learn from him.

We are currently looking for a very talented, enthusiastic PHP Backend developer

Job brief

Sr. PHP Developer (3+ Yrs)- 6 Positions

Help plan and design the architecture to keep the product agile and robust.

Interface with the product team and translate the real world problems of the flight booking to technical specifications.

Be hands on with coding and the ultimate fallback person for your team

Requirements

1. 3+ years of PHP development experience.
2. Experience of working in PHP Frameworks, Yii will be preferred.
3. Must Be strong in OOPs Concepts
4. Should be comfortable with PostgreSQL Database
5. Hands on experience of JS Frameworks is a plus
6. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
7. BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.

Responsibilities

1. Write “clean”, well designed code  
2. Produce detailed specifications
3. Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
4. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
5. Follow industry best practices
6. Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary

Place of work, Timing and Remuneration:

Place of work will be at C-101 Sector 2, Noida. (5 min walk from Sector 15 Metro Station.).

Our Office is Open 24x7. The programming team will be expected to attend normal working times. However the team will be expected to work on projects with deadlines so be prepared to put in a few extra hours once required. We will compensate you with some extra time off when convenient or at end of the achieved milestones.

Our pay grades will be as per the market for the experience that you have and value you can deliver. There will be attractive incentives/ bonuses for completing milestones within deadlines.
