Dans son nouveau clip, Part of me, Katy Perry s’engage dans l’armée après avoir été trompée par son petit-ami. Il n’en faut pas plus pour que l’on se demande si la vidéo n’a pas été financée par l’armée américaine et pour faire réagir les défenseurs de la paix. Ce clip ne plait pas non plus à Naomi Wolf, une féministe américaine qui appelle au « boycott de la chanteuse ». D’autres y voient une « glorification de la violence ». Katy Perry ne fait pas l’unanimité sur ce coup-là. Voici le clip controversé.
