By the way this isn't news, it's a reprint from last year. The commander was tried and aquited last November by an Israeli court. He emptied his magazine into this 13 year old girl's body, which was hit by about 17 rounds in total. I seem to recall that he was an Israeli Arab and not Jewish - not that that makes any difference. War sucks but psychopaths suck even more.
I would agree with you if it was acting like a psychopath. To the soldier trying to save innocent lives he is not trained to see a 10 year old girl or a 50 year old Osama Bin Laden - This was not like the soldier walked into a Palestnian home and decided to muder her in cold blood. Something that does happen with Palestinian terrorists. And if 90% of white middle class children was trained from birth to murder me and my family and I was in a situation where I thought my life was in danger then yes I would. Do you have a prefrence to who you want to murder you? If you were going to me murdered would you feel better about it if it was a little girl? A teenage boy? A 90 year old grand mother?
So, in effect, any occupying army can shoot and kill any man, woman or child and justify it by saying they are trying to save lives. Sheesh, I hope the tables never get turned on you buddy! Read the reports. This soldier was in a control tower which he left in order to fill this child with bullet holes. He didn't need training to see she was a child, he was a few feet away from her and he'd already been told. But then, according to you it wouldn't matter because they're all terrorists anyway aren't they?!! It was murder. There is nothing more to say. May his god forgive him, and you, if you support him.
Your first mistake is calling Israel an occupying army. That is a dispute. All of the land of Israel belongs to the State of Israel and the Jewish People. Second of all if in case he was in his tower and there was no threat to life and he saw a little girl and went down and killed her in cold blood then I 100% agree with you and he should be put to death himself. There is no excuse for cold blooded murder. I'm just curious if you are basing your "facts" on testimony from a reporter.
