Ne-Yo Discusses Roles in ‘Battle: Los Angeles and Red Tails

Singer, songwriter Ne-Yo talks to Black Sci-Fi.com about his star turn as an actor in two new movies coming soon. First up is the sci-fi thriller Battle: Los Angeles . due in theaters March 11, 2011. Ne-Yo plays a soldier named Cpl. Kevin Harris, who is part of a platoon of Marines fighting off an alien invasion in modern-day Los Angeles. Actors Aaron Eckhart, Michelle Rodriguez and Bridget Moynahan also star. Ne-Yo also talks to BlackSci-Fi.com about his role in the upcoming movie Red Tails, about African-American World War II pilots, the Tuskegee Airmen. He plays the role of Fighter Pilot Andrew "Smoky" Salem. This film is directed by George Lucas and Anthony Hemingway.
