Only TWO human species??

Go to just about any county fair or WWE event and you'll see that process has already begun.

This report doesn't take into account whether the wealthy, good-looking, and intelligent race can actually maintain its numbers and survive into the future. It would be interesting for others to weigh in on the possibility that the goblin-like race would outnumber the other 6 to 1. In many ways, this is even seen to some extent now. Many affluent, intelligent couples have relatively small numbers of offspring (due in large part to their careers and desires to capitlaize on their good fortunes). On the flip-side many poor, often grossly under educated couples have more offspring (and sometimes with multiple partners). And unfortunately too few will be able to cross over the ever widening socio-economic gap.

In the 1895 book, the human race has evolved into two distinct species, the highly intelligent and wealthy Eloi and the frightening, animalistic Morlock who are destined to work underground to keep the Eloi happy.

That is not how the story goes....
