New Stuff in the Reporting API
What's Happening
Featured
Over the last few months the API Engineering team has been hard at work improving the APIs for the Marketing Cloud. The team has been especially busy adding a whole bunch of new metrics and elements to the API that you can use in your apps and scripts. I want to highlight some of the changes that we have made.
Adobe Social
You can access Adobe Social reporting data via the Reporting API. These are available when you have Adobe Social enabled. Here are the new dimensions and metrics.
New Dimensions
- socialterm
- socialcontentprovider
- socialauthor
- sociallink
- socialtermslist
- socialaveragesentiment
- socialproperty
- socialassettrackingcode
New Metrics
- socialmentions

- socialtotalsentiment
- sociallikeadds
- socialpageviews
- socialpostviews
- socialfbstorytellers

- socialpubrecommends
- socialpubcomments
- socialpubsubscribers
- socialpubposts
Video
You can also call Video metrics by using their names instead of trying to decide which eVars and events are mapped to the video data. This is enabled via the Admin console and assumes that you have the v15 version of video tracking enabled.
New Dimensions
- video
- videoad
- videosegment
- videocontenttype
- videos
- videoPlayers
New Metrics
- videotime
- videostart
- videocomplete
- videosegmentviews
- videoadstart
- videoadcomplete
Other New Stuff.

These metrics and dimensions can be used in as part of the regular report definitions just as you would use any event, eVar or prop. We have also updated the documentation to include them. Dimensions and Metrics
