Scopolamine is a colorless, tasteless, odorless drug. Most scopolamine comes from jimsome weed, or as in Colombia, borrachero trees. The plants it can be derived from are many, and abundantly available. This makes its use widespread, and exceedingly dangerous. It is, surprisingly, one of the most feared substances in what is arguably the drug capital of the world, Colombia.
I'd like to see this dramatized on House.
That would be interesting lol. On the plus side, bet they don't get motion sickness on the ride to the hospital!
Sounds pretty dangerous if there is no insight. Terrible story about that young mother losing her baby. By now the Shadow is getting tired of knowing what evil lurks in the hearts of men.
When my son was a teen-ager, he and a few of his friends tried a little jimsome weed. He must not have taken very much, but two of his friends ended up in the hospital, and the story made it into the local paper the next morning. My son could read the article OK.
Maybe there were some lingering effects, come to think of it, because he all but admitted to me that he had tried it along with them.
This is scary stuff.
