President Trump reportedly asked White House staff about his widely-disseminated tweets about MSNBC host Mika Brzezinski, according to the New York Post.
The Post said a source "close to the White House" said the president admitted the tweets may not have been "presidential" but asked if they were appropriate.
I heard poorly rated @Morning_Joe speaks badly of me (don't watch anymore). Then how come low I.Q. Crazy Mika, along with Psycho Joe, came..

"I know it wasn't presidential, but what did you think?" Trump said, according to the Post.
Some staff members reportedly praised the messages, which described a chin lift Brzezinski had prior to her and co-host and fiance Joe Scarborough's visit to Trump's Mar-a-Lago estate.
In another tweet on Friday, Trump appeared to say that the Brzezinski and Scarborough's "low-rated show" is a result of NBC News executives who do not like him.
Crazy Joe Scarborough and dumb as a rock Mika are not bad people, but their low rated show is dominated by their NBC bosses. Too bad!

The Post source said Trump and his administration feel like "they're under siege."
They added that CNN's retraction of a story about top adviser Anthony Scaramucci is seen as a "vindication" for the White House.
