Fox News contributor Lisa Boothe called out the left for its repeated accusations of racism and sexism against the Trump administration.
Stuart Varney noted the "predictable" response from liberal commentators, including MSNBC's Joy Reid, after President Trump announced a proposal to create a merit-based legal immigration system.
Reid tweeted that Trump and Republicans want to take the country back to the 1950s and "repeal the 20th century."

Throw in this zeal to roll back voting rights and you have a clear message (and not just from Trump -the whole GOP): GIVE US BACK THE 1950s.

Ok that Stephen Miller presser was insane. I can't believe I just watched that in 2017.

Boothe agreed that the accusations of racism and sexism are the "go-to" for liberals, rather than argue the substance of the policies.
"If everyone is a racist, then who's really a racist?" she asked.
Boothe said Reid is an example of someone "constantly injecting race into issues," even after the shooting of Republican House Majority Whip Steve Scalise.
"In the Trump era, everything is sexist, everything is racist. It really devalues those terms and the meaning behind those terms," she argued.
Tucker Carlson took on Reid this week for suggesting Democrats ignore white Trump voters and focus on minority, inner-city voters.
