Gutfeld said the Singapore summit was basically a "first date" between the two leaders and a sign that "maybe the past is dead."

The video, which plays like a movie trailer, features a series of encouraging images apparently meant to goad North Korea into joining civilized society.

"Two men, two leaders, one destiny," the narrator said in the clip. "A story about a special moment in time when a man is presented with one chance that may never be repeated."

Gutfeld said the video likely was a diplomatic "first."

He said that it showed Kim Jong Un has two choices -- a "golden off-ramp" to civility, or a cliff to nowhere.
