House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes slammed the Justice Department, saying it held back key documents relating to his own investigations that remained under wraps until the DOJ watchdog's report was released.
Nunes, of California, said Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-S.C.) called him Thursday afternoon to say that the inspector general had unredacted copies of key texts between FBI lovers Peter Strzok and Lisa Page that to date he had not received.

Nunes said those same texts and other documents were "pertinent" to his committee's FISA abuse investigation among others.
"Why wasn't that given to Congress," he said of a text from Strzok that said Trump "won't [get elected]. We'll stop it."
