Laura Ingraham said Monday that the left is "already in full resistance mode" after President Donald Trump named Judge Brett Kavanaugh as his pick for the Supreme Court.

Several notable politicos spoke at the protests in front of the Supreme Court building in Washington.

"We must ensure that we defeat Brett Kavanaugh. All of our rights are at stake," Center for American Progress leader Neera Tanden said on the podium.

New York Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand said Kavanaugh must "not become the next justice" and that it "will take all of us" to fight against him.

Fox News anchor Shannon Bream was scheduled to broadcast her 11pm ET show from outside the court, but it was moved back to the D.C. studio because of threats. 

Brad Woodhouse, a Democratic operative and former president of the George Soros-linked American Bridge 21st Century super PAC, repeatedly chanted "Hell no on Kavanaugh!"

Ingraham said she found none of that "display... attractive to me. It seemed in poor form."

Christopher Hahn, a Democratic commentator and former aide to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) told Ingraham the left has "no choice" but to oppose Kavanaugh because many Democrats believe Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) "stole" President Obama's final Supreme Court choice, Merrick Garland.

McConnell cited the so-called "Biden rule" that then-Delaware Sen. Joe Biden (D) first recited during the George H.W. Bush administration, calling for no nominations to be considered in a presidential election year.
