Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Monday on "Hannity" that the allegations of sexual assault against Judge Brett Kavanaugh are "collapsing."
He was asked by Sean Hannity about the lack of corroboration for the allegations of sexual assault by Kavanaugh's first accuser, Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.
"Nobody in their right mind is going to deny him a seat on the Supreme Court based on allegations 35 years old when everybody at the high school party says they don't know what Dr. Ford is talking about. The second allegation isn't even worthy of talking about," said Graham, adding that Senate partisanship is at a "low point."
"If he is denied a seat on the Supreme Court based on 35-year-old allegations that are uncorroborated, who in the world will come forward in the future to be a judge?"

What we are witnessing is the total collapse of the traditional confirmation process for a Supreme Court nominee.
It is being replaced by a game of delay, deception, and wholesale character assassination.

Clearly when it comes to President Trump, elections – in the eyes of Democrats – have no consequences.
In my view, the process needs to move forward with a hearing Thursday, and vote in committee soon thereafter.

Both Graham and Hannity asserted that Dr. Ford deserves a Senate hearing Thursday to lay out the allegations. Graham said he believes there will be a vote on Kavanaugh shortly thereafter and he plans to support confirmation.
Graham said former President Bill Clinton had a litany of sexual allegations against him, but many Democrats turned a blind eye.
He said for the left "there are no rules" when it comes to opposing the Trump administration and trying to "destroy" the president.
