SMTP Settings
SMTP settings are simply your Outgoing Mail Server settings. "SMTP" stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol. It's a set of communication guidelines that allow software to transmit email over the Internet. Most email software is designed to use SMTP for communication purposes when sending email that only works for outgoing messages. There are two other protocols, POP3 and IMAP, which are incoming settings used for retrieving and storing email. Both of these settings are often required to properly set up any mail client so that it may communicate with your host's mail server.
