Obtaining and Installing SmartFTP
Summary
SmartFTP is a Windows based graphical FTP, FTPS, SFTP and SSH client developed by SmartSoft and is made as commercial product. With SmartFTP, you can transfer files from your local computer to the server over the internet and is a great tool for managing and maintaining your website files. Amongst its many other features, some of the more unique are the integrated editor, terminal emulator and built in broswer. Although SmartFTP is not free, it does have a free 30 day trial. Where and How to Download SmartFTP:
- Go to http://www.smartftp.com/
- Click the download button on the left hand column
- Click the version of SmartFTP you wish to use (32-bit or 64-bit).
- Once the download is complete, follow the installation instructions.
