Icelandic Domains Cannot Point Nameservers to Justhost.com

Problem:

ISNIC is giving me the following error about my domain:

Unable to transfer zone DOMAIN.IS from ns1.Justhost.com
Unable to transfer zone DOMAIN.IS from ns2.Justhost.com

Solution:

Unfortunately we no longer allow Zone Transfers in the way ISNIC is requesting. We have made this change due to security concerns. Allowing Zone Transfers potentially allows an attacker to exploit a vulnerability in the Zone Transfer process.

To host your .is domain with us you will need to point the nameservers to another DNS provider and then setup an ARECORD with them which points to your Just Host IP address.

We have had a few customers report success using an account with:

http://www.octane.is/en/

But, we are in no way officially affiliated with this third party company.
