Backup a MySQL database using the Site Backup & Restore tool

Summary

To backup your MySQL database you can use the Site Backup and Restore tool, located in the Files category within your cPanel.

Backup MySQL Database

  1. Login to your Just Host account.
  2. Click the Site Backup & Restore tool.




  3. Select the "Backup" tab.
  4. Click "MySQL Database (Individual)."




  5. Choose the date of the backup you wish to use.
  6. Choose if you will use "TAR (.tar)" or "ZIP (.zip) Archive."




  7. Click "Start Archiving"
The tool will then begin backing up your files. Once complete, you'll be given a dialog with a link to download your files.
