Charts
On the main toolbar, click the Chart button to begin viewing charts.
When viewing charts, you can open a new chart for each symbol or add more symbols to a single chart.
You can change the time intervals of your chart in two ways.
You may access the Chart Settings in the toolbar of the Chart window. Time Periods, Settings, Studies, Tools and Draw options are available.
Using the visual settings, you can change the appearance of charts to meet your needs.
To place a trade on a security you're currently viewing in the Chart window, simply right-click anywhere on the chart.
The crosshair and bar feature enables you to view information for a given time period in a chart.
To view the Dividends and Splits in a chart, click Settings and then select Show Dividends or Show Splits. By default, these features do not display.
Extended Hours Charting begins at 8 a.m. (ET) and extends without interruption to 8 p.m. (ET).
A filled chart is configured differently than other charts.
You can add several studies as technical analysis tools to your charts.
A variety of drawing options are available from the Draw drop-down menu on any Chart toolbar.
Chart Templates are set up to save time in accessing new charts with the same formats.
