With Scottrader, you have unlimited access to streaming quotes and market news any time of day. This section will help you learn how to use the QuickQuote, market summary, stock list, live stock ticker, index quote, exchange and NASDAQ Financial Status Indicator features.
QuickQuote is an excellent tool to display real-time fundamental information for a single stock. QuickQuote is a key advantage tool for anyone involved in stock market trading.
Important market summary information is located to the right of the toolbar at the top of your Scottrader window.
Stock Lists is a great feature that saves user-defined groups of stock symbols into a list on a Scottrader database.
The Scottrader live stock ticker provides trading information on all stocks that are present on the main quote screen.
Below are the most common indexes. If you are using Scottrader, you will need to enter a "$ " before the symbol to retrieve any index symbols.
The letters listed in this section represent the various exchanges listed.
NASDAQ Financial Status Indicator
The financial status of NASDAQ stocks is indicated by the Financial Status Indicator. The indicator will display in the bottom left-hand corner of a Quick Quote Window.
Time and sales information is available for any symbol on your list.
