If you missed last week, the week before or the original announcement:

A while back, almost exactly a year ago, and then again a few months ago, the Photographers began planning to meet in a virtual conference. An agenda hadn't been developed but there was an expressed interest in having the opportunity to get to know one another better, coordinate special efforts and discuss ways to step it up a notch or two.

The Newsvine Photographers Virtual Vinemeet (NVPVV) will take place on Saturday, April 2nd at 7:00PM CST.

Here is the tentative schedule:

• A 30 minute period of meet and greet. 

• A demonstration of image editing techniques; about 30 minutes.  This will be done mostly using Adobe Photoshop CS5 but the information presented will be broad enough to be relevant for other programs such as Paint.NET and Picasa.  If you have questions you'd like answered or photographs you'd like to be worked on, please please please submit them in the comments section below or group email. 
  

• An open forum, lasting until... whenever.  We can talk about whatever, if we want to meet on a regular basis, challenges you'd like to see, ideas of how to create that "bad ass magazine", project ideas, etc.  Please submit your agenda items below or bring them to the meeting. 
  

A brief overview of using GoToMeeting will go out Thursday, March 31st.  No download is required, all you will need is a link and meeting ID; it's that easy.  A headset is also recommended; a text chat is also available.
