  • I think the prosecution chose the wrong charge. I don't think there's such a thing as "confinement by fraud". I'm not sure what the right charge would be. Obviously the concept of fraud is involved.

  • Actually, if you look around the world, universal health care costs a hell of a lot less. Countries that have it spend a much smaller chunk of their funds, both as percentage of GNP and as a percentage of their tax spending. But I guess Americans enjoy spending more money for less services.
