GOP Jams Democracy

piracy stop with those four? There are a number of reasons to think that it did not. First, all four have claimed that they did not know that the scheme was illegal. It might seem obvious that sabotaging get-out-the-vote operations would be illegal, but it appears the thought never occurred to these Republicans. Since those involved did not think that they were part of a criminal conspiracy, it seems likely that they spoke to others about it.

The question is how high up did this go?

sorry about the poor cut and paste technique on that one.

Just so you know, William, you can still edit that. Just click the pencil.

If you do (or don't), feel free to delete this comment.

I agree, William. I didn't mean for you to take the story down, I was just trying to tell you that you could edit the story to add the rest of the missing paragraph. Up by the title, you have a pencil icon that you can use to get back to the editing screen. You could paste in the rest of the paragraph, and nobody would ever even notice that some was missing at first. Either way, though - of course, anyone can get the missing part by simply clicking the link.

Thanks for seeding this story - I'm looking forward to seeing how it plays out over the next few months.

for some reason, the pencil icon doesn't show on the original post.

Thanks again
