this is so pretty! I love your word choice. It's just as good as Tolkien (in my humble opinion) but at times darker, at times sweeter. And the way you incorporated red and blue into the story, and gold, in such a beautiful, poetic way is awesome.

And you got Sam's sweet stubbornness down pat. =)

Hi Larner. I really appreciate all the reviews you've given my story, so I thought it was time I returned the favour. This was just wonderful. Colors and their symbolism have always fascinated me and you've used them beautifully in this story. My favourite part was the imagery of the blue symbolizing pure water washing away the red symbolizing violence and pain. It's so powerful and moving at the same time. Thank you for sharing. I'm looking forward to reading more of your stories. :)

This is awesome story that describes color and Frodo's feelings so vividly and true. The beginning paragraph's description was very angsty for me to read and i was so saddened by it, but it is true.

I love your description of the colors and the last part of where Frodo will find healing was my favorite part for Frodo deserves rest and peace and i'm glad he finally does find it...

Wow, that was beautifully poetic. Very very touching. Just to get things straight though, was Frodo seeing these colours as he was healing from the war of the ring?

Wow. There aren’t many in the world who could write a story such as that. But you did, fantastically. I never thought as the effects of the Ring like colours, but they work well – changing a souls ‘colour’. Very very cool. Know you have something special here. I’ll look out for more stories by you – they are stories which really have soul.

Wow. This piece is incredible. I am excited that I get to be the first to review this. Your imagery was magnificent. I could feel the colors blue and red fighting for dominance. I could see the light and the darkness battling. 'Twas an amazing description of Frodo's pain and suffering. GREAT job.
