FANDOMS:

1. Danny Phantom - Ah, I remember many years... months... ago, when I was a wee lass of 12 and totally obsessed with this cartoon. Now I'm a wee lass of high school age, and I have formed very different opinions about this show. To put it bluntly, no longer a fan. And while this show may have jump-started my writing and art career, and why I met my best friend Sybet, it makes me cringe whenever I see it on TV (except for The Ultimate Enemy, which was bloody brilliant). Why, then, am I still browsing and attempting to write fanfiction? Well, unfortunately for me, I find the concept of a half-ghost incredibly amusing. Damn. Anyhow, I like really strange AUs, and stuff that has to do with the Ghost Zone. And parodies. I like parodies.

2. Harry Potter - I do not obsess over HP. Never have. :D It skipped my generation. Anyway, I like HP parodies. Like, way more than I should.

3. C.S. Lewis - I'm not religious, but spiritual Narnian fanfics always make me feel better. And parodies. Parodies make me feel better too.

4. Pirates of the Caribbean - I don't really browse, I'm just in the process of writing this SUPERFANTABULOUSAWESOME parody with Sybet. ;)

5. Avatar: The Last Airbender - Ahh, now THIS is a cartoon worth watching. It has great animation, greater plots, even better characters, and the hotness that is Season 3 Zuko. (:drool:) It's just a very good cartoon, and I just really like it. A lot. More than I should. Who doesn't agree with me when I say that Sokka is cuteness on a stick?! Anyway, I like stuff about Iroh and Lu-Ten the most. It's sooooo sweet and sad! LOVELY ANGST!

The Fandom: God, I despise fandoms. Everything is so messed up, what with people bitching at everyone else because they like slash, or because they don't like Ron/Hermione, or they've just got nothing better to do than yell at people. God damn, people, who cares?! So what if you like yaoi? So what if you're an avid Zutara shipper? So what if this person doesn't agree with your beliefs concerning Davy Jones? So what if you make Danny half-demon instead of half-ghost? IT DOESN'T MATTER. The point of FanFiction is to twist the original story, to record the "What Ifs". If you don't like what someone's written, you don't have to read it!
