Now Why Exactly Did I Post a List of My Favorite Authors Here?! Because I've seen many of my favorite authors rant on their profile about how fanfiction.net has gone to hell with all of this crapfiction! Sorry for the rude terminology! But honestly, I agree with every single one of you who think that the quality of the stories posted on this site has lowered tremendously! I've recently "come back" to find the following:

1) The ratio of high to low quality stories is now 5 to 1! (And that's being generous!)

2) Every one who actually takes and spends their precious time to write decent quality stories that is not total crack, but if it is crack - it's the good kind, are discouraged by a lack of response/reviews from readers!

HEY PEOPLE!!!! Do you know why QUALITY STORIES RECEIVE SUCH FEW REVIEWS while LOW QUALITY STORIES SEEM TO FLOURISH WITH ALL OF THEIR CLICHES AND BACKWATER PLOTS AND WRITING STYLE THAT THE COWS SPIT UP?!!!

Weeeellll... Maybe it's because you readers out there are so used to this stupid idea that writers should write for themselves so it does not matter if you review or not! I've said this once and I'll say it again, why should writers spend their precious time typing up some fanfiction that they're not even getting publically recgonized or paid for just for themselves? They know what's going to happen, YOU don't!!! Readers who DON'T review, it's time to STEP UP!

A LOT OF GOOD WRITERS ARE LEAVING AND DISAPPEARING FROM FANFICTION.NET BECAUSE YOU TREAT THEIR EFFORTS LIKE IT IS NOTHING SPECIAL! IF YOU LIKE A STORY, SAY SO! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ACTUALLY HAVE AN ACCOUNT ON THIS SITE, IT'S VERY ANNOYING TO SEE SOMEONE FAVORITE OR ALERT A STORY BUT NOT DROP A REVIEW!!! ANYWAY, BACK TO THE MATTER, GOOD WRITERS FEEL UNAPPRECIATED BECAUSE IT SEEMS LIKE THEIR WORK IS ON THE SAME LEVEL AS THE LOW QUALITY STORIES!!! PITCH IN! STOP THE DETERIORATION OF FANFICTION.NET! I HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE I WAS 11 YEARS OLD AND I AM NOW 21, I STILL ENJOY READING INUYASHA CROSSOVERS BECAUSE EVEN AFTER I'VE MATURED, I'M STILL KAGOME'S FANGIRL AND I LOVE READING ABOUT THAT TIME-TRAVELING KLUTZ' CRAZY ADVENTURES!
