Monster

I sleep under your bed
I bare my bloody fangs at all light
I wear the skins of my victims,
blending in with you mortals
I go to school
am I scheming to take your souls and sell them to my BFF, Satan?
"Hmm, I don't think you've ever worn that cross," I notice one day
"Yes," you said uneasily, averting your gaze
is that a disgusted gleam in my wicked eye?

dark room
with my dark, lifeless eyes,
