I don't know why I've never written one of these. But, here goes... Currently residing in the dead-center of the country, this displaced Michigander is the proud mother of two teenage sons, the proud wife of a freakin' genius, and the proud staff member of a Kansas City Northland high school where I teach ninth-grade English and AVID. It's a fairly cushy existence. When I'm not out running, preparing for that next half-marathon, or on the couch, making excuses why I really don't need to go prepare for that next half-marathon, or complaining that I'm in terrible shape and I'll never be ready for that next half-marathon, I'm singing. Or I'm avoiding correcting papers. Just ask my students--they will corroborate this last statement. My main aspiration in life is to be independently wealthy so I can travel the world at a whim. Until then, teaching is the next best thing.

I love fanfic, having discovered it in my late thirties, some ten years ago. When I was a teenager, I used to write stories, but I had no idea anyone else did, too. What fun to realize I was not the only one! Most of my stories are in the SG:1 fandom, written alone or with my partner, Sazz. I might start adding some of those to my profile. I have just the one NCIS currently, and if my B-complex vitamins really kick in, I might someday finish my one "Burn Notice" fic. What kind of story is it? Well, if you know my stuff, you'll know it's a hurt/comfort story, light on the angst, though.
