Author has written 58 stories for Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Silmarillion, and Misc. Books.
In case you ever wondered if there is order to my stories, here you go: Until We Rise - the first story in the series. AU version of Glorfindel's return to Middle-earth and how he learns to adjust to life again. This pretty much started all the other stories I write. Mostly about Glorfindel and Elrond's friendship. Cast My Soul to the Sea - is the sequel and carries the AU storyline through the fall of Ost-in-Edhil (Eregion) to Elrond founding Imladris. Malaise takes place in this time, and is a slice of life as it might have been. Elrond and Glorfindel on the plains of Orodruin, during the Siege of Sauron. Then there is a huge, immense gap of stories never edited that are written and no, I can't share them. They're awful. And my ideas evolved a bit as I went. Fields of Gold - is the third of the posted stories that tells the story of Glorfindel and what happened to him after Celebrían sailed and before he offered a certain hobbit his horse. It's the "love story" of the bunch, though in all honesty? I quake in fear at the thought of writing romance. I'm not a romantic soul! But Glorfindel is and so, yeah, he got his story. The brat. I love creepy stories too, and have a few. The Battle Pit - first person and set a long time after Aragorn and Arwen have died. Settlers have moved into the Shire but all is not well. Very mild and only creepy (unless you're scared of scarecrows). Forlorn - it's odd and I know it, but darn. I do love large arachnids and unwary travellers. The tale of two Elves of Aman who, before Beleriand sank, went looking for the lost glory of Menegroth and found much, much more. Things That Have Not Yet Come to Pass - this one is creepy. I warn the faint-hearted. Celebrían is not quite right after being rescued from the orcs. No happy endings here, readers. Beware! Shades of the Immortal - zero creep factor in my opinion. The books say that the land remembered the Elves. A Hobbit of the Shire finds out just what that means one evening. There's fuff and sad and serious. There's where I started it all, Gofi and the Balrog, still probably the only story of mine I actually like. There and Back Again is a series of prompts that range from The Silmarillion to The Lord of the Rings and everything in-between. I'm still writing as time allows, but most of my energy these days goes towards real life and a family. Thank you for reading! |
