I'm a 38 year old woman living in Sacramento, California. If you look at my homepage, it's a little dated. I discovered fanfic while living in a remote area of Japan (teachinig high school English). My American friends and I were always looking for anything written in English which was hard to find and expensive. We'd trade books and magazines amongst us, but we didn't always like the same things. Well, one rainy, typhoon-struck day, I was surfing the net on my newly bought computer and WHOA AND BEHOLD (and in retrospect, it really did hit me like that), I found fan fiction. Oh my gawd, I was immediately addicted.

Now, years later, I've finally decided to jump on the bandwagon.
