From the two machines I mostly had access to a Genesis. Sonic, Golden Axe, Afterburner II. Ahh too many to name.

I did play a lot of SNES too but nothing really jumps out at me the same way the Sega games do.

anyway... i think most of the people who say they were playing PC`s back than mean pre IBM PCs like BBc micros, ataris, commodore products etc.

those were also PC`s you know

In Europe for instance those were far more popular gaming machines than consoles

and they had amazing unique games too
being also office machines those computers often had games that were much deeper/complex and more mature, less toy like if you like, because they were "from office workers for office workers", made by adults for adults, console games were products aimed at kids so they were quite different (not worse or better just different)

I feel for those who missed some of the gems of that era like for instance Elite from 1983 that was more complex than anything on nes for years to come

not to mention that we are talking about a different era here meaning snes era

I don't know what to say, I had a DOS PC and Commodore Amiga in the early to mid 90s (which is the SNES/Genesis era that this thread is about).

look, atari made many PCs, including the famous Atari ST that my good friend owned

its clear you know nothing about that Era, you were not involved in it and that`s why you don`t understand how it is possible for me to be born in 1983 and still own C64 and Amiga as a kid
