They are still good. tell me better stealth games than early SC games, Thief 1/2 and hitman. of course none. since these type of games barely exist. splinter cell get dumbed down last gen, Hitman was ruined when absolution came out only to be save by new game that is coming out. new thief is terrible

MGS games were good action games but not as stealth. and MGS5 is one of the most boring game i have ever played.

No, only played the original games of both franchises.

I was assuming we were talking pre-last-gen. (well, Black-Cell)

I didn't say they get better per se, I said the older games are just old.

Tbh, there hasn't been a proper and good stealth game since the original Hitman.

I could count MGS, but I'll admit it has become something in between stealth and action (but that's up to the player).

Personally, I think true stealth game has become niche. Which results in games like this Alekhine's Gun.

I can say this is best new ip coming out this year.

Animations and voice acting looks rough but overall seems nice.

I can say this is best new ip coming out this year.

Except when it is a series that you've never played or don't like. Then Demon's Souls (the most refreshing game last gen) is just a generic medieval game (HINT: medieval times didn't have dragons or magic).

I respect your views my friend. New Hitman is basically blood money 2.0 in episodic content and this game is Hitman meet splinter cell in cold war. stealth games which were dumbed down last generation are coming back and we barely have these type of games. no more QTE, cinematics, forced scripted path like this in a game is BIG PLUS in this day and age. and if this game was AAA game develop by EA or ubisoft than it would be more of action game.

I don't like stealth games

Pro's:
-Stealth looks solid
-Shooting looks solid
-Movement looks solid
-Interesting objectives
-Should have a nice weapons/item selection
-Disguises seem to be well done
-Setting is appealing

Cons:
-Visually underwhelming
-Cinematic kill sequences; too jarring and distracting
-Evil Nazi premise is cliche and unoriginal
