So I was playing Fallout 4 when this happened

So yesterday I was playing a bit of Fallout 4 when this happened, I've never had this happened before and have no idea what was going on. I managed to capture it as a highlight though so I put it on Youtube with some edits.

Has this every happened to you guys or is this something rare that just happened to me?

Here's the video:

I don't have Fallout 4 yet, but, from the video, and since there was an explosion the moment you turned around....maybe the cars were thrown by the force of it.

Seen a few glitches like this when playing my game, saw a car cartwheeling past me into the sea. That was a funny experience.

What is "this" thing you're talking about? I'm not clicking it unless you describe it, because I'm fucking tired of click bait and won't participate.

I believe, if you are getting 100+ fps in F4, then physics can go crazy just like in skyrim [same engine basically - just a little modified]

Physics are locked to 60fps on pc. When you go above 60 then game speeds up and you can run into bugs like that.

Simply cap your fps at 60 in RTSS [it comes with Afterburner].

It's a glitch that made a bunch of cars suddenly fly up into the air, and well. It's a video of that.

Well, it is a Bethesda game. Hopefully a different team than the one making DOOM.

I heard in passing somewhere at school that frame rate is like weirdly tied to physics and monitor refresh rate or something like that. No idea the specifics but it sounds off.

^ my game frame rate drops to about 2FPS near a built up area with super mutants, raiders, rabid animals/creatures plus a brotherhood helicopter all doing shit near each other, shit is horrible when it bogs down, I avoid that area all the time now since it's a repeat incident.

Similar thing happened in Skyrim. Framerate had to be locked at 60FPS if you wanted to disable vsync, because otherwise all the little objects would shoot around.

My water in Skyrim was flickering like crazy when I went above 60.

Outdated engine is outdated.
