I'm the only one who sees straight. You'll see.
Welcome to middle class!
Yeah, the sad thing is it's one of the best paying jobs around here short of being a doctor.
| |
Huh, I just realised I need new avatars, now that they're bigger. So blurry. If you ever feel like doing ol' man ZeD a favour.. No rush.
Realizing how much I love Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare (I have it on Xbox one, so it still has a good community of players), and Killer Instinct (Xbox one version as well). PvZ is simply a fun game while still having a ton to do, and a lot of reasons to replay it. Killer Instinct is turning out to be one of the deepest fighters I've ever played, and that's saying a lot because I've played a ton of them. I see new things in it every time I play.
I think it's going to be blurry no matter what. I assume you got Kina's forum-thingie installed? The new GT forums have a max avatar resolution of 85x85 pixels, while the old forums had 90x90 if I remember correctly. With Kina's forum-thingie installed, avatars look much bigger but they are just stretched a bit, hence the blur. The original image size still can't be above 85x85.
Oooh, forgot I installed it. I just thought your looked a lot sharper.
I remade your avatar from scratch using that picture you posted and gave it the monty python treatment: http://i.imgur.com/l7EKjV5.gifv Edit: Forgot to add vignetting to the image for the darker borders. Can do that if you want. Just lemme know.
Iffe, you're having too much fun making those gif avatar. Yes, that video is really stupid ._. Edit:
^ Lol | |
Hah, that's awesome. | |

ff9 is coming to steam :)
Oh, shiny. Cheers! | |
I'm rewatching The Sopranos and finally came to this scene again. So bad. What were they thinking? Like one of the commentators said, it reminds me of that episode in South Park where Chef was killed and they mixed a bunch of his old lines. The dialogue is totally disjointed and awkward. I wish I could extract that scene and the later references to it.
Whats wrong with it? Tony and his mother hated each other. She even "suggested" that Junior push the button on him. The awkwardness you see stems from two people who hate each other but are forced to keep up appearances because of their culture. How on earth can tony save face as boss of the family if it's widely known that his mother hated him and had a hand in his attempted demise? Due to those underlying elements, that whole sequence felt refreshingly organic to me.
*double post* | |
I think it's because they just CGI-glued her face to someone's body, and used old lines to drive her performance. It looks and sounds super weird. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
What ZeD said. The scene wasn't essential anyway. They should have let her die off screen. It really sucks that it's part of the show.
Happy New Year! | |
Happy new year European user! We are still stuck in 2015 here in North & South America.
Ahhh I see what you fellas r talkin about now. Huh, never really bothered me. ...and Ezekiel, you CAN'T have Tony's mom, the woman who basically ordered a hit on her mob boss son die off screen lol. No way would that have been a better choice. Closure between two people with a dynamic as strong as theirs is a necessity. Shit, with that kinda talk, I bet you liked how they ended the last episode too :P
Your hair is on fire. | |
But there was closure. The whole episode dealt with it. Meadow helping AJ understand Robert Frost's writing about death, Tony trying to come to terms with his psychiatrist about his antipathy for his mother, pretending he loved her as he repeatedly says "What are you gonna do?", the wake, Tony crying at he watches the scene of the mother in Public Enemy at the end of the episode. Death is unexpected. We often can't have those meaningful last moments with people, so I think it's fine to let her die off screen.
Too ambiguous for me to have an opinion with only one viewing. However, I like the idea of Bobby's line on the boat ("Everything just goes black." referencing the ending and not showing what we already know is going to happen after the end of Tony's character arc.

You're one smart sum'bitch lol. "Too ambiguous for me to have an opinion with only one viewing. I knew it :P
happy new years! | |
Yo!!! I love this!!!!!!!
Happy new year! Shouldn't have drink so much...
Happy new year ! (bit late, but whatever !)
I may be having a blonde moment, but where the hell did the change signature button go? I can't find it.
"Change avatar"-link is under "profile options" in the profile tab.
Dang it man, the avatar you made for me ain't showin up. Is it just a matter of time before it starts to show? *edit*
Hehe, ye, the person uploading a new avatar is always the last person to see it. I saw that you changed avatar several hours ago :D
