I have around 16 retail games from that list, mind you that I own over 170 retail games for the 360, this list isn't even covering 10% of my collection. Imo too much digital only stuff also, they should have concentrated more on retail releases.
This reminds me so much of people last gen. barbie horse adventures compatible but not kotor? Madness! By the midlle fo the 360's life, damn near every major title form the ogXbox was compatible.
Im very disapointed soley due to no Dark Souls. Its the only game i wanted on the list, and it was a game that was in the anouncment video for backwards compatibility, so i assumed it would be on the list.
I am pleasently surprised to see Beyond Good & Evil HD on there though. So thats nice.
yeah never saw the point to Backwards Compatible. Once I buy a new console I only play new games, my old ones are packed away never to be played again.

Same here when a game is really great and has a lasting appeal, I want to be able to play that game forever, and the first 3 halo games where great and I still play them with friends almost every year.

Nothing wrong with that but there is a market of people who play older games.
We'll see a lot more for sure. All I care for is seeing Red Dead Redemption on that list soon. It's clear everyone wants it, so I bet it'll be in a list of the next ones added, I hope.

The reason its running better is because its not backwards compatibility or emulation its a port running on xbox one. Microsoft is putting each game through some kinda engine or something that makes it run on xbox one its not emulation at all.
