Battlefield 4 Open Beta Dated

Those anxious to test drive Battlefield 4 by participating in the game's Open Beta can circle October 4 on their calendars as that's the day that DICE's brand of multiplayer mayhem will hit Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

Of course, Battlefield 3 Premium account holders and those who have either registered the Limited Edition or Digital Deluxe Edition along with folks who pre-ordered the Battlefield 4 Digital Deluxe Edition will get into the beta a bit earlier on October 1.

Check out the above MP gameplay clip to sample what you'll experience early next month. Battlefield 4 arrives on the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on October 29 with the next-gen versions of the game coming to the PS4 on November 12 and the Xbox One on November 19.
