After weeks of crossing the country, we've seen the sights, run from the cops, and taken down gangsters, but this one isn't firing on all cylinders.

So many things that sound promising, but it also seems as if the design was a little half baked. That's too bad. Still might give it a go one day, probably just not online.

Well then, I can't imagine there's too much in there for me. :/

6.2 seems awfully high for a game where the best amount of praise was "the world seems kinda big".

If it looks awful, handles awful, has no players, and is full of bugs, why would it still receive an "okay" score?

exactly, I mean it has a 61 on metacritic so I would say blood nailed the score.

I really enjoyed it while it lasted. It was a rare pleasure to travel across US, especially using my steering wheel and cockpit view - thanks for that, Ubisoft. I even liked the handling.
Unfortunately, after I finished all the story missions and nearly maxed out three of my favourite cars, there was no incentive to go back. Like the review sad: it's hard to find any people to race with and faction war is badly designed. Nevertheless I remain hopefull for the sequel. I would not mind driving for another 20 hours or so - maybe across Europe and Asia this time.

It's safe to say Ubi had a bad year. I hope they get their stuff straightened out, instead of what seems to be hitting deadlines to make a buck.

I know a trend when I see one, I'd hedge my bets on the next Ubi games.

This made me sad. I was looking forward to getting this game so much.

been there too many times to count, even with my expectations tempered, I get hurt all the time.

A game like this sold 2 million copies? And people are wondering why Ubisoft became the evil these days.

wow, people really are just as dumb as in the NES days.
I may have bought destiny and the master cheif collection on sale but this I avoided like the damn plage.

I actually got so sick of it during the beta that I assumed I would never play it again, but thanks to the fact that the price dropped through the floor in some places I gave it another chance - needed something to fill a gaming gap - and I actually am at a point where it's semi enjoyable now, bar the few teeth gnashing story missions. The trouble is that took some 30 plus hours to really kick in. When you find a few cars you like and get them upgraded it's passable fun tootling around the map and doing the challenges. I guess paying a quarter of the original price for it really helped.

I'm in at maybe $10.

Only reason this game had any steam was because it was promised at the PS4 launch. Launch games are always given the benefit of the doubt in order to bolster the new console.

and like 3 out of 4 launch games it sucked hard.

surprised this even got reviewed as it was out 2 months ago guess it is a great example of why Game Trailers generally does not review MMO's. Still I miss when GT did weekly reviews

they gave it time to improve, it did not.
