Microsoft® Hosted Exchange Email -- corporate-class messaging on a budget
Outlook® Hosted Exchange email, powered by Microsoft Exchange Server®, offers an integrated solution for managing your life. The program brings together data from various devices, synchronizing the information that reaches you.
Share contacts. Hosted Exchange keeps all the contacts in the company directory in one central location for sharing throughout the organization. Contacts can be downloaded and used in all versions of Office Outlook. Plus, distribution lists can be stored centrally, facilitating communication between groups, departments or customer lists.
Calendar sharing. Hosted Exchange email offers rich features for personal, group and resource scheduling that integrate with email, contacts and tasks. Users can share their calendar information and view multiple calendars simultaneously to send meeting requests for shared open times. Recipients can decline, propose a different time or accept and have the meeting automatically entered in their calendars.
Shared documents. Our Group Hosted Exchange Plan includes SharePoint® Document Management. SharePoint makes it possible to save files from Microsoft Office applications directly to the service, creating a place for backup and collaboration with shared documents. You can also post documents for customers and vendors -- with appropriate security -- when Office is used in connection with Microsoft Communication Services.
Joint task management. The task list in Hosted Exchange email plans not only makes it easy to create and assign tasks, but can be integrated with email notification and scheduling. You can track progress as a task moves from active to complete to overdue, while managing project status through various organizing criteria such as person responsible and task type.
Text search. Outlook Hosted Exchange makes searching email and remote files as straightforward and as fast as searching the Internet.
Enhanced security. Hosted Exchange includes a variety of security and privacy features at both the server and mailbox level . You can digitally sign and encrypt emails and attachments, accessing your mailboxes without a virtual private network (VPN) connection when working remotely. Anti-spam features include support of real-time safe and block lists. Both server-side and client-side filtering help reduce the amount of unwanted email.
Messaging backup. Hosted Exchange backs up and stores your documents and Outlook messaging information on data center servers. That means your messaging data can always be retrieved – even if you lose one of your computers or devices to theft or catastrophic damage.
