Only people ignorant of the true statistics of firearms and NOT the bunch of MADE UP statistics that the anti-gun loons are pushing, would fear law abiding citizens owning firearms. Imagine that if one or two LAW ABIDING PEOPLE who were LEGALLY carrying firearms, were present when any of the massacres happened, how many innocent children or men and women would be alive today?? Why is it that where it is known people carry firearms legally live, crime drops? What would you do if two people with knives broke into your house with intent on raping or killing your children or wife, throw a paper with a law banning guns?? Not I, they would not leave my house on their own power. If you have a false sense of security that they wouldn't get through your security system, remember this, I have yet been to a house I could not get into, ever! This is done legally, professionally, and under emergent conditions. Very few times did it take me more than 60 seconds and usually less. To sum up, I would not be alive if it were not for me legally carrying in the mid 80's. Who would you depend on to protect your family until the police get there??

My mother served tongue when I was growing up and I ate it without thinking about it. Once I was gone from home for an extended time (college and draft) it never really appealed to me anymore.
