Film - Film London Jarman Award 2011 - London

Launched in 2008, the Film London Jarman Award recognises artists working with moving image and whose work resists conventional definition. The Award is inspired by visionary avant-garde filmmaker Derek Jarman, one of the most esteemed and controversial artists of the late 20th century. Crane.tv caught up with this year's winners, London-based filmmakers Anja Kirschner and David Panos. The duo creates ambitious, richly layered films that consider the possibilities of (or do you really mean for?) political art and social transformation.
